Greater Atlanta Christian vs. Valor Christian - live on SUVtv Football

By SUVtv Football

One of Georgia's best vs. one of Colorado's best set for rematch

This time last year, the Greater Atlanta Christian football team was gearing up for a cross country flight to take on Valor Christian - winner of seven of the last eight state championships in Colorado. In last year's matchup, the GAC had to settle for two out of three - they came and they saw, but the "conquer" portion was thwarted by a 21-17 victory for Valor Christian. The rematch is set for this Friday, September 8, when it'll be the Valor Eagles'  turn to make the 1,400 mile trip for one of the biggest games of the high school season. Those who can't make it to Norcross, GA for the primetime tilt can still catch every second of the game live & on demand on SUVtv Football.

Representing the hotbed of football talent & staunch competition that is Georgia, GAC is a consistent contender for the GHSA title year in and year out. Tennesee's Micah Abernathy and Auburn's Darius Slayton are just a couple examples of the steady pipeline of GAC players that play at the next level.  The number of collegiate & professional players that have come through the Valor Christian ranks includes but goes beyond the McCaffrey contingent of Max,Christian, and Dylan who are now with the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and University of Michigan respectively. The youngest McCaffrey, Luke, is Valor's junior QB who will experience Friday Night Lights Georgia-style come this Friday.
