Below you’ll find several standout players who we believe helped their recruitment stock moving forward.  Check back next week of more updates.

Randy Brady || McEachern HS || 6'4 SG/SF || C/O 2021

I love the maturity that Brady plays with; he is always under control and never allows the defense to speed him up. He also does a good job of using pump-fakes and jabs steps to get his defenders off balances.

Bobby Moore || McEachern HS || 6'4 SG/SF || C/O 2021

Bobby plays with a high motor, which allows him to compete against bigger players on the interior for rebounds. He is also very athletic which can cause trouble for the opposing team as he looks to elevate and finish over the top of you.

Jakai Newton || Newton || 6'3 SG/SF || C/O 2023

Newton played with an extremely high motor, able to score off the bounce going downhill and can finish plays at the rim. He is also able to make pull up jumpers and wing threes constantly.

Kobe Davis || Langston Hughes || 6’0 PG || C/O 2022

Combo Guard, who does a really good job of running the team, but can score from the pg. position, but can get to the rack and make jumpers, good defensive player, tough competitor, volume shooter.

Paul Lunguana || Lambert || 6'5 SG/SF || C/O 2021

An athletic scoring guard who shoots the ball well from behind the arc and gets to the basket off of strong straight-line drives.

Vino Glover || Collins Hill || 6'2 SG || C/O 2021

A combo guard that can create for himself off the dribble with a nice pull up mid-range jumper to go along with floaters in the lane.

Jaheim Hudson || Wheeler || 6'7 PF || C/O 2021

Face up 4 man, who uses his body in the post and scores it well on the block, can finish on the rim with loud dunks.

Max Harris || Wheeler || 6'4 SG || C/O 2021

Sneaky athletic wing, with big shot-making capabilities, doesn’t mind rebounding the ball and locking down on the defensive end.

Kok Yat || Norcross || 6'8 SF || C/O 2021

Stretch wing, that excels in catch and shoot, or the one-dribble pull up from behind the arc, with athletic ability.

Ian Schieffelin || Grayson || 6'7 PG || C/O 2021

Very good low post threat, with nice size, showed range by stretching out and draining jumpers, on various occasions. A true threat to score anywhere on the floor.

Kaanan Caryle || Milton || 6'3 CG || C/O 2023

Downhill aggressive guard, with a smooth shooting stroke from the mid-range, and behind the 3pt line. He can play either guard position but excels as a shooter.

Myles Rice || Sandy Creek || 6'2 PG || C/O 2021

Showed tremendous versatility as he finished in the lane in transition, while also went to the post when he was defended by smaller guards. But I was most impressed with his ability to find and create scoring opportunities for his teammates in transition and the half-court.

Parrish Johnson || Kell || 6'4 CG || C/O 2023

Shot the three-ball very well went 4/8 (50%), showed he can he also has a nice in-between game with his ability to make certain shots on the pull-up, good handles.

Madison Durr || Pace || 6'4 PG || C/O 2021

A heady point guard that looks to create opportunities for his teammates. He likes to use his strong frame to keep defenders on his hip while attacking the basket and does a good job of getting into his defensive stance to disrupt the other team’s offensive flow.

Kyle Keener || Sequoyah || 6'0 PG || C/O 2022

Very crafty guard in the lanes using a series of ball fakes to keep help-side defenders off-balance after beating his defenders off the bounce. He also is a good shooter from behind the 3pt line; you have to be aware of him at all times.

Tyler Shirley || Pebblebrook || 6’7 Forward || C/O 2021

Played hard every possession on both ends of the floor, he defended multiple positions but I was most impressed with his ability to get in his stance and guard smaller ball handlers. He also showed some offensive versatility as he knocked down a couple of runner/floaters in the lane, and went in to the post and scored with his back to the basket.

Until next time…
