Pace Academy boys basketball announced that it will host a unique high school hoops event featuring some of the best teams and players in Georgia and the country this December. Running December 19-22, “Playing For A Change” will showcase incredible basketball talent while playing for a cause bigger than the game itself. The three-day event will serve as a platform and stimulus for change in the areas of social justice and advocacy. Participating boys basketball teams include host Pace Academy, Wheeler High School, Greenforest McCalep Christian Academy, Grayson High School, Pebblebrook High School, North Gwinnett High School, Kell High School, and South Cobb High School. All games will be streamed live & on demand on SUVtv.

“Playing For Change is a concept that allows us to take the sport we love and use it for a bigger purpose that affects the people we love”, says Sharman White, head boys basketball coach at Pace Academy, “Social justice for all and prompting change that supports that notion is a message we look forward to expressing through our gameplay on SUVtv as well as additional programming.”

The event schedules combines a showcase game format with tournament play on the final two days. The game schedule is as follows:

*Mon. Dec. 21st - Tournament Semis*

• Grayson vs Wheeler

*Tues. Dec. 22nd - Tournament Finals/Consolation*

• Loser G1 vs Loser G2
• Winner G1 vs Winner G2
