Coach Sharman White developed the Miller Grove Basketball Program from it’s infancy as both the Head Coach and the school’s Athletic Director. Four years into the program they won their first State Title, a Georgia AAAA State Championship. They won four straight State Championships at the AAAA level before being bumped to the AAAAA class. They won back to back Georgia State AAAAA Championships in their first two years in the division. In 2015, after winning 6 straight State Titles, the Wolverines suffered a devastating loss in the Elite 8 round in 2015. Go inside the locker room and follow the Wolverines on their quest to reclaim the crown and get their trophy back!
We will highlight Coach White and his philosophy of not only developing boys into fine athletes but also into fine young men. We will touch on Coach as a Nike Elite coach and trainer, a USA Men’s Junior Olympic Gold winning assistant coach, and a Georgia High School Basketball Coach standout. We will touch on some of the past and current Miller athletes currently on the team, like McDonald’s All American Alterique Gilbert and the late, Terrell “Too Tall” Coleman.
Through fantastic interviews, intense game action, and candid conversations, we’ll take a look at one of the strongest basketball programs in the nation.
