Hosted by Play For Orange, the Atlanta-based Holiday Hoopsgiving is one of the top five high school basketball showcases in the country - under the direction of Founders Tiffany and Christopher Williams. As it enters its fifth year, Hoopsgiving will have some company under the Play For Orange event umbrella - two new events, including Braggin’ Rights: Georgia vs. Alabama and the EC16. Play For Orange is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and funding research efforts towards a cure for leukemia, the most common cancer found in children and teens. Holiday Hoopsgiving combined with the two new events will help expand the mission Play For Orange was created for while using great basketball as a platform to do so.
The 5th annual Holiday Hoopsgiving will be held at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, GA on November 23-24, 2018. It will include 29 games and a field of teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, and West Virginia.
Braggin’ Rights: Georgia vs. Alabama will take place on Saturday, December 8 at Columbia High School in Huntsville, AL. Participating teams will include:
EC16 will be held at Northwestern Florida State College on December 19-22. The inaugural EC16 field will include teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia.
Those that can't make it to one or all three Play For Orange events can still catch every second of the action on SUVtv.
"We decided to expand the events this year due to the amazing success we had with Holiday Hoopsgiving the first four years," says Christopher Williams of Play For Orange. “Along with adding these two events, we are even more excited about our continued partnership with SUVtv and being on their platform for all three events. ”
Every game will be streamed live and on demand on theSUVtv.com, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV.
“Christopher and Tiffany Williams have done a great job laying a foundation for Play For Orange through Holiday Hoopsgiving,” says Marques Burnett, Founder of SUVtv. "We're excited about taking the Hoopsgiving broadcast standard and delivering that to the Braggin' Rights and EC 16 events as well."
