East St. Louis (IL) vs. DeSmet Jesuit (MO) will kick off the grassroots partnership this weekend

ATLANTA/ST. LOUIS—September 1, 2021—Today, SUVtv and Elite Amateur Sports announced a content partnership created to maximize visibility for high school student-athletes in the states of Georgia and Missouri. The joint coverage starts with a primetime high school football matchup this weekend. On Saturday, September 4 at 8pm ET/7pm CT,  Illinois and Missouri powers will collide as East. St. Louis takes on DeSmet Jesuit on a live broadcast produced by SUVtv in partnership with Elite Amateur Sports.

St. Louis-based Elite Amateur Sports provides a platform for high school sports in Missouri and Illinois, as well as pocket coverage from select events around the country. While football and basketball are focus areas, EAS coverage also includes additional sports such as lacrosse, soccer, and more. Atlanta-based SUVtv features over 3,000 broadcasts from a wide range of events across various sports. Both groups will continue to specialize in coverage in their respective areas while increasing exposure that student athletes can build on in an uber-competitive recruiting landscape.

“We are excited to be teaming up with SUVtv to collaborate on bringing major football and basketball content to the STL and ATL basketball communities”, says Tyler Coleman, co-Founder of Elite Amateur Sports, “This will be one of the most influential moves we’ve made at EAS, and we will continue to push the envelope”

East St. Louis will come into Saturday night’s matchup with a 1-0 record after defeating CBC 48-44 in a barn burner on the road last week. DeSmet Jesuit also comes in 1-0 as they took care of Edwardsville with a 44-17 win at home. There will be no shortage of high level talent in this one - from players to coaches.

“We look forward to working with EAS to expand what’s been an impressive pipeline of coverage for St. Louis area sports”, says Marques Burnett, Founder & CEO of SUVtv, “Tyler, Dorian Brown, and their entire team have done an incredible job telling the stories of so many STL area student-athletes, and it’s just the beginning.”

Elite Amateur Sports will also host its Elite High School Basketball Showcase on October 16 in St. Louis. SUVtv will be on hand to provide live streams that will feature some of the best high school basketball players in Missouri and the country.
